The Anita Gittelson Innovator of the Year Award
The Innovator of the Year Award, named after the Godmother of Amenity Kits - Anita Gittelson. Anita has had a long running career in the travel industry, and gained the apt epithet 'Godmother' after appearing in an article in the New York Times.
This special award is designed to recognise those individuals, within the airline industry who have gone the extra mile, and make significant contributions in innovation, quality, value and forward-looking design during the tender and procurement process of Passenger Amenity Products. The nominations for this Award have been received from the leading suppliers of amenity kits, and recognises those who continue to push the boundaries, think outside the box, and create something a little bit special for the Airline's passengers.
TravelPlus is honoured to be able to put Anita's name to this Award and we cannot think of anyone better placed to be it's namesake. We hope that her wise advice 'Keep it personal! And always be a futurist. If you're not creating something new, you're falling behind' will be a perfect ethos for the future generations of design in amenity kits and passenger comfort items.
