WESSCO International partnered with Hawaiian Airlines on its Leihōkū Business Class bedding, which features a plush mattress pad, quilt, sleeping pillow, and slippers. Each element celebrates Hawaiian heritage, meticulously curated to feature designs by Hawai‘i lifestyle brand Noho Home by Jalene Kanani.
“Noho” means “to be, to dwell, or to come from” in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language). The Noho Home designs, inspired by Hawaiian Airlines’ newest Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner premium cabin, the Leihōkū Suites, bring a sense of place and comfort to local Hawai‘i residents (kamaʻāina) and visitors as they embark on their journey.
The designs were inspired by the native Hawaiian practice of “kilo,” careful and constant observation. The quilt features the “Kilo Hōkū” design inspired by the night sky.
