Delta is collaborating with Mexican apparel brand Someone Somewhere to craft artisan-made, sustainable amenity kits for customers travelling in both Business and Premium Economy. This partnership supports the livelihoods of over 1,000 people in artisan communities throughout Mexico.
Someone Somewhere is a Certified B-Corp that works with artisans to combine their craft with goods sold directly to consumers. These partnerships pay artisans a fair wage that empowers them to rise above the poverty line, support their families, and transform communities.
The kits feature a QR code that prompts passengers to “meet the artisan” who crafted the kits, allowing them to leave a message of gratitude and learn more about Someone Somewhere. The contents also include sustainable products such as Grown Alchemist lip balm in aluminium tubes and bamboo toothbrushes.
